This file gives directions on how to install and run Word for Word under DOS.  Word for Word will also run under Windows as a non-Windows application.  To install and run Word for Word under Windows, see your Windows documentation.  You can install Word for Word either way; whichever way you install it, it will work under both DOS and Windows. 

To run the WORD FOR WORD tutorial from diskette:
	Place the distribution diskette in drive A.  At the DOS c:> prompt, type "a:".  Then type "w4wtutor". 

To run WORD FOR WORD from diskette:
	Place the distribution diskette in drive A.  From the
DOS c:> prompt, type "a:".  Then type "wrd4wrd".

Installing WORD FOR WORD on your hard disk:
	To install WORD FOR WORD on your hard disk, simply copy
all the contents of the distribution diskette into any
subdirectory of your choice.  Please note that the game will
only run if the word lists (the files called "words.3le",
"words.4le", and "words.5le") are in the same directory as
"wrd4wrd.exe".
	To run the WORD FOR WORD tutorial from your hard disk, change to the subdirectory containing the contents of the distribution diskette and type "w4wtutor". 
	To run WORD FOR WORD from your hard disk, change to the subdirectory containing the contents of the distribution diskette and type "wrd4wrd".
